SITE INFORMATION
Cookie and local storage policy
Clear information about using Supplement Field Guide.
Effective date: October 5, 2026.
This policy describes browser storage used by Supplement Field Guide. The site currently has no advertising cookies and does not load Google Analytics until you allow optional analytics.
Required preference storage
The site uses browser local storage, under the key sfg_privacy_choice_v1, to remember whether you allowed Analytics and when you made the choice. The preference lasts up to 180 days. This storage is used to save your privacy choice; it is not an analytics identifier. You can clear it through your browser settings, but the banner will appear again.
Optional analytics
If you accept Analytics, the site loads Google Analytics 4 using measurement ID G-QWWRLEPZD2. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies, commonly with names beginning _ga, and similar identifiers to distinguish browsers and understand visits and interactions. Google explains its data practices in its visitor information for Google Analytics. Cookie availability and expiration can depend on browser behavior and the property’s configuration; the site operator should verify the active Google Analytics settings.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use to reject optional Analytics, accept it, or save a selection. Rejecting prevents the Google Analytics tag from loading. The banner also honors a browser Global Privacy Control signal by keeping Analytics off.
