Privacy Notice

This notice describes the information practices for Supplement Field Guide (the “site”). For privacy questions or requests, email contact@pipework.cc. Please do not send medical records or other sensitive health information by email.

Information we handle

Site and device information: if you accept Analytics, Google Analytics may receive page views, interaction events, approximate location derived from network information, device/browser information, referrer information, and online identifiers or cookies. Google Analytics is not loaded before consent in this site’s current setup.
Privacy preference: the site stores your analytics choice and the time you saved it in browser local storage for up to 180 days. This is used to remember your choice. The site does not use this storage to identify you.
Messages you send: if you contact us by email, we receive the address and message you choose to send. Your email provider and ours may also process that message.

The site has no user account, checkout, or on-site contact form. Do not include health details in a message unless necessary; we cannot provide individual medical advice.

How we use and disclose information

We use site information to operate and protect the site, remember privacy choices, understand audience usage when Analytics is permitted, and respond to messages. Google Analytics is provided by Google; information sent to Google is also subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and its information for visitors of sites using Google Analytics. Hosting and email providers may process information to provide those services.

We do not sell personal information for money, run advertising on this site, or use Analytics for ad targeting in the site code. Some state privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly; if you do not want optional analytics, choose “Reject optional” in the banner or open Your Privacy Choices. The site honors a browser Global Privacy Control signal by keeping Analytics disabled.

Retention and security

The browser preference expires after 180 days unless you clear it earlier. Google Analytics data retention is controlled in the site operator’s Google Analytics account and can vary by setting. The operator should verify and publish the current account retention setting before launch. Email messages are retained as needed to respond, maintain records, and meet applicable obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed secure.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and whether the relevant law applies to the site operator, you may have rights to know or access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. California residents may have additional rights, including the right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable. We do not ask for sensitive personal information through this site.

To submit a request, email contact@pipework.cc with “Privacy request” in the subject and describe the request and state of residence. We may need to verify your identity and may decline a request where the law permits. You may use an authorized agent where applicable law allows. You will not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address it.
